Auf dem Lande findet man in Nordvietnam noch viele Wasserbüffel, die von den Bauern zum Umpflügen ihrer Reisfelder eingesetzt werden. Man bezeichnet diese Zusammenarbeit als BMW (Bauer mit Wasserbüffel). Eher ungewöhnlich ist es, diese Tiere zu reiten. Vermutlich handelt es sich um eine eher touristische Aufführung.

In the countryside of North Vietnam there are many water buffalos. They are used by the farmers to plough up the soil. It is less common to ride on a water buffalo. Perhaps it is a kind of tourist show.
