Taking the advantage of over one million nineteenth-century engravings and images and over two million articles and books, the "Liszt Collection" narrates the world of yesterday, showing a vast array of subjects and places that have changed tremendously with time. The "Liszt Collection" strives to represent an irreplaceable landmark for making known, preserving and cataloguing the World's society, art and culture of the nineteenth century.
The "Liszt Collection" is becoming an irreplaceable source of world heritage by the publication of the assets (images and text) as identifiable electronic publications, registered with a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) for permanent referencing, linking and ordering. The collection is currently being put online and will be accessible in various ways.
