Supplier agreement

§ 1 Purpose of the contract

§ 2 Registration as Supplier and transfer of material

The Supplier shall be responsible for adding text and keywords to his own content, including the contextual links arising from the original publication. To this end, digiprimo provides catalogues with comprehensive aids to data entry. digiprimo reserves the right to check the quality and content of the material before release. digiprimo undertakes to add the submitted material by the Supplier to its media database and to ensure that the linking of text and image material is retained for data transmission purposes. With only one click in the catalogue the Supplier can turn any asset into a formal electronic publication. In this way we separate trading objects from original publications, that have a permanent character and can be cited and quoted. digiprimo assigns each asset that is published on the Internet a Digital Object Identifier (DOI), which is registered with the relevant metadata in a DOI register; to ensure that the asset is provided with a permanent citation reference and locator. Electronic publications will be archived by the German State Library (Die Deutsche Bibliothek) in Frankfurt am Main. For electronic publications digiprimo charges the supplier a small registration and storage fee as indicated in its current catalogue of services.

digiprimo reserves the right to block third-party content if it infringes current laws both inside and outside Germany. Suppliers are strictly forbidden to add material to the database that violates statutory provisions, official directives or common decency. Service providers and credit card institutions have imposed strict rules on digiprimo.
