As a composer, how can I make my sheet music known?

What about the marketing of artists?

We prepare “electronic editions" in direct consultation with artists that include digital images of works of art, studio and portrait photos, curriculum vitae, references to exhibitions, etc., and offer them to specific target groups. The preparation of thumbnails and metadata for Internet search engines can stimulate demand.

I am very interested in your "electronic editions". How does that work?

digilibri offers users the possibility of producing and presenting "electronic editions" in PDF format. These electronic editions" and also individual PDF files include a feature for file definition purposes that allows the Adobe icon to be replaced by a user-selected cover image. We do that in service.

What are digilibri's quality requirements for photos?

digilibri offers high-quality material only. If you want to use the full bandwidth (including fine art print) digital photos must have the following specifications:

Digital data: captured with a digital camera

For the best image quality, digilibri recommends that data be saved in TIFF format. The recommended minimum size is 3000 x 2000 pixels at 300 dpi.

What quality requirements are there for scans?

For scanning and retrodigitalisation, please contact us, info@digilibri.de,

because there are many options and the intended use must be clearly defined. We work with first-class companies only.

Special case: if originals/unique objects are only to be scanned for on-screen display purposes, a max. resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels will be sufficient (at 72 dpi).

As publishers, can we use DOIs ourselves?

Yes. In this case, digilibri supplies a publisher's prefix and registers your company with the mEDRA central Internet DOI register in Italy. We will co-ordinate the registration procedure for DOIs with you and conclude a contract.

How can we link up or integrate our production workflow with digilibri's media asset management system?

Canto, Inc. provides the option of using APIs for linking up to the Cumulus® Media Asset Management System. We will be glad to provide you with more details once we know what systems you use in your company, e.g. the production planning and management system supplied by Klopotek & Partners.

Do you also supply frames?

Yes. We recommend Halbe® magnetic frames, and will frame and deliver in any size specified. See the "Reproductions" feature when ordering.
